53.5% of Voters: The Government Has No Environment Policy

With the occurrence of mucilage problems in Turkey, the belief in central government environmental policy is debated. As a result of environmental issues, Turkey Monitor asked voters about the perception of the environment policy of the central government.

The first question was asked participants is about the sufficiency of precautions on environmental issues in Turkey. 56.0% of voters think that the precautions are not good enough by giving a score of 5 and less than 5. On the other hand, 30.6% of total voters see precautions good enough by giving a score of 6 and more than 6.

The second question asked by Turkey Monitor to all participants is about the belief on whether Turkey has an environmental policy or not. 53.5% of total participants do not think that Turkey has an environmental policy while 30.5% of them think that Turkey has. The uncertain participant’s rate is 16.0%.
