Our Research on Syrians is on Halk TV
The results of the section on “How does society view Syrian immigrants?” in our Turkey Monitor research were announced. In our study, which was brought to the agenda in the program of Halk TV Recording, the citizens were asked the question “What would you decide about the Syrians if you were the President?”
In the survey on Syria Policy, “The number of registered Syrians under temporary protection in Turkey was 3 million 684 thousand 412 people as of June 23, 2021. If you were the President, what would you prefer to do about the Syrians? question has been answered.
According to the answers given to the survey;
Turkey in general,
I would forcibly send 34.3 percent home,
- I make the necessary contacts with Syria, 58.4 percent, and ensure the conditions for returning to mature.
*7.3 percent answered that they would focus on the integration policy so that they could spend their lives in Turkey from now on.
