What have the survey companies done?
In the final hours before the elections, surveys showed that while JDP’s and PDP’s vote shares were predicted correctly, predictions for RPP fell far beyond the real results. Konda predicted JDP’s and PDP’s vote shares and Gezici Research predicted NMP and PDP’s vote shares correctly. Metropol’s predictions couldn’t come close to any party’s real vote shares. Sonar predicted JDP’s and RPP’s vote shares with about 1% difference.
